Elliott Schmerler, MD, MD(H) was voted “Best Doctor

Dr. Schmerler has been board certified by the American Board
of Cosmetic Surgery, the American Board of Family Physicians
and the Federation of State Medical Boards. A Fellow of the
American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, Dr. Schmerler has been
a frequent lecturer at the Annual Scientific Conventions
of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. Recognized as
an expert by his peers he was elected to serve as an examiner
for the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery.
Dr. Schmerler’s training included a 5-year Fellowship,
approved by the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, in
Plastic, Reconstructive, and Cosmetic Surgery by Morton Mazaheri,
M.D. Dr. Mazaheri is a recognized sculptor, artist and a
Beverly Hills plastic surgeon to the stars
Dr. Schmerler has served as a Clinical Assistant Professor
at the University of Nevada, Reno, in Family Medicine and
has published numerous articles in major scientific journals
including the American Journal of Cosmetic Surgery. Dr. Schmerler
has also served as Medical Director and Chief of Staff at
Lakeside Community Hospital in Nevada. Dr. Schmerler, a Biomedical
Engineer, also holds a U.S. Patent for an intelligent stethoscope
he developed for 3M corporation.
Dr. Schmerler has also served as an instructor in Advanced
Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support and Advanced
Pediatric Life Support and received postdoctoral training
in homeopathic medicine from the Desert Institute School
of Classical Homeopathy, in Phoenix, Arizona
Dr. Schmerler has remained active in his communities by
donating his time and expertise. He is a speaker for the
American Cancer Society and a volunteer for The Childrens
Cabinet, a free clinic.
